What are the chips for?

The chips are there to do whatever you want to do with them. Originally we intended them as a way to label one of your cards if it was stolen by a competitor so that you could get it back. The really good cards have a way of going home with your competitors... Just accidentally... it is easy to get confused.

Since then we have found all sorts of good uses for them... Some cards are only good for three rounds. You can use the chips to count how long a particular card has been in play... Or if you borrow money from another player, a way to mark an IOU.

How do you apply a "Fire an employee" card

When you play a card that says you can fire an employee, read it carefully. Some cards specify that you can pick which employee gets fired. Unless that is specified, it is at the discretion of your competitor which employee gets fired. That's basic business strategy.
